Welcome to Sonrise Ministries! We are glad you found us!

We are a not for profit organization whose goal is to bring hope and healing to those who desire it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe environment for people to receive emotional and physical healing from the Lord Jesus Christ through teaching and personal ministry.

We believe that God has a destiny for every single person he created. Unfortunately, the enemy wants to deter that destiny through sickness and emotional wounds. The goal of Sonrise Ministries is to unravel the enemy’s plan and bring you to a place of health and freedom so you can joyfully fulfill your purpose on this earth.

Jesus said, “The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy, but I came that you might have life and have it abundantly. “ John 10:10

We want to communicate, demonstrate, and release the truths from Scripture that will set you free to live the abundant life Jesus came to give you.

Meet our founder:

Cathy (Tilden) St. John has had a passion to bring healing to others for many years. She herself is the grateful recipient of God‘s divine healing – both physically and emotionally. Cathy suffered with chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic Lyme disease for 24 years. She is excited to share what the Lord taught her and desires to see everyone experience healing through Jesus Christ like she has. God has commissioned Cathy to birth this ministry so she can share with others what the Lord has done for her.

Cathy’s Testimony:

Cathy grew up in Park Forest Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She went to Northern Illinois University and earned a BS in elementary education. During college, Cathy was introduced to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through a campus ministry. She then went on to serve the Lord in full-time ministry for 11 years. It was then Cathy came down with chronic fatigue syndrome and many years later it was diagnosed as chronic Lyme disease. God healed her in 2016 and she now runs, bikes and swims and was able to go back to work full-time. Amazing!
